Parents

While the swimmer involvement is crucial to our club’s success, our parent involvement is just as important. There are many roles the parent can take on by becoming involved with the Board, by heading committees for swim meets, by volunteering at fundraisers, and by supporting the coaching staff and their decisions. A few other guidelines to help define a parent’s role: 

1. Support the coaching staff in their decisions and encourage your swimmer to do the same. The coaching staff has only the best interest of the swimmers in mind.
2. Encourage good sportsmanship and behavior at all times.
3. Encouragement with sincere praise for trying their best at all swims.
4. Providing transportation and encouraging regular and prompt attendance at practice, meets and team functions.
